Brush Busters Plus is a fully insured family owned local business focusing on smaller jobs in North Central Region of NC that many larger companies won’t accept nor the capabilities to perform.
BBP was established after seeing a demand from neighbors requesting yearly cleanups of accumulated waste from wind damage, clippings or maintenance on trees, shrubs and bushes. Our mobile chipper quickly turned their waste into usable mulch for garden beds and weed prevention. Thus the ‘Your Brush – Your Mulch – Your Lawn’ motto.
I was able to provide a service not available anywhere else (brush chipping directly at the site of waste). This saved neighbors the time and effort in pulling yard waste out, risking damage to themselves and their property.
With the goal of increasing productivity, BBP researched all available commercial chippers and developed a custom electric drive system on the Dosko machine to allow the 400lb tool to be maneuvered through difficult terrain without the use of an ATV/tractor. In addition, a custom 1000W-48V 1/2cuyd electric dump cart was built to take the chipped mulch anywhere on the property.
Today, we’re providing additional services to help customers reclaim their lawns. In 2020, brush/field clearing with two walk behind bush hog units as well yard waste and junk removal, leaf blowing, rototilling, soil and mulch delivery (3000lb limit) was added. In 2021, we purchased two Toro commercial zero turn mowers and started offering full service lawn maintenance (mowing, edging, hedging, leaf removal, mulching and more). In 2022, aeration and over-seeding added and In 2023, BBP began a collaboration with Grandma’s Garden Design for design services
We look forward to 2024 and will continuing to provide our very best everyday.
